The BPS is the national body representing photography art in Bangladesh, and the official National Federation appointed by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP); FIAP is an NGO that holds consultative status with UNESCO.
We are the leading organization for photographers in Bangladesh, and we are dedicated to promoting photography as an art and profession. It offers memberships, distinctions, training, and events to support and connect photographers nationwide.

Monthly Meeting

Every month first Friday BPS organize monthly general meeting and monthly photo contest for BPS members and discussion about photography.

BPS hosts a Monthly Photo Contest as part of its regular activities to encourage and recognize the talents of its members.

Photo Adda

“Photo Adda“, is an informal gathering for its members. This event serves as a platform for discussions on various photography-related topics, experience sharing, and exchanging new ideas.

Workshop

BPS in collaboration with the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, organizes Monthly Photography Workshops aimed at enhancing the skills of photographers across various genres.

Outing

Annual Photography Outing, providing members and photography enthusiasts an opportunity to explore diverse locations across Bangladesh.

Distinctions

BPS giving ABPS, LBPS & FBPS Distinctions. Open to all photographers. You need to show that you are good in Presentation, Technical Quality, Visual Awareness and Communication.
