The Bangladesh Photographic Institute (BPI) serves as the educational wing of the Bangladesh Photographic Society (BPS), the nation’s leading organization dedicated to promoting photography as both an art form and a profession. BPI was established in 1990.

Established in 1975, BPS is affiliated with the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) and has been instrumental in nurturing photographic talent across Bangladesh.

BPI offers a variety of training programs, including a Basic Photography Course that covers both technical skills and creative development. The institute also organizes workshops, seminars, and exhibitions to foster a vibrant photographic community.
